Auto Transportation.......?

Looking like the 968 hunt is has taken a positive turn. Ernie9944 really hooked me up with an gentleman in Idaho with extremely nice 968 with 6 years of service records.

NOW.....Anyone know of a good auto Transport company that is not going to surprise me with changes in the car when it arrives?

Spend $200 on a flight, $250 in gas & drive it home yourself. Shouldn't take you more then 2 days so you can do it over a weekend. Plus that means you can meet the owner, pick it up in person and not have to worry about the transpo company.

Given the distance your looking at $600-$800 for someone to deliver it for you.

UShip has some good movers on it if driving isn't an option. I've shipped motorcycles with different people on there with success.

Don't think I'm gonna drive it back. The Winter on that side of the country is a mess. I don't think Harvey (the Owner) wouldn't let me, that 968 has never seen rain or snow. I don't think I can wait till spring to buy it either.

Ernie, those auto transport co. are top notch but are a lil steep. Both around the $2000.

DJ......I'm sure you would ;-)
