Speedometer problems!

Hello all, so my Odometer works perfectly fine both the actual mileage and the trip mileage work. But my speedometer is wacky and will bounce up and down when i gas, my gas meter kinda works it doesn't go all the way full when i fill it up and jumps around sometimes, my rpm gauge just sits at 3k or 1k sometimes. Any suggestions on how to repair? also the light on it sometimes works and sometimes blinks or shuts off.... any suggestions thanks!

What you are describing sounds like Poor Ground Connections. DISCONNECT the BATTERY at Neg. post to prevent arching. The Grounds are a BROWN Wire, remove clean to bare metal, use Dielectric Grease and reattach. The gas gage could be from a sticky float as it rides up and down on two wires. Carefully clean the wires of varnish and replace with new gasket. Location under the rear carpet, top of fuel tank. The Instrument Ground Wires, (IIRC) are located up under the driver side dash on the firewall..

Use the link below for any maintenance.
