[QUOTE=Catamax944;7192692]No, that i don't like on 944's , goes well with the lines of 911's but not 944's.
I have some plans for the bumpers but a bit different .( Also something involving louvers.)
____Such as this, very subtle I'll say & will look nice on a 944.

yes but a bit different placement and real steel louvers not plastic ad-ons ,also really functional unlike those D9's .

Not today but last Saturday. A nice drive to the beach on the weekend. My favourite road as it takes me near my folks place. Traffic was pretty light considering the weather and the New Year period.
Oh, also Zena Warrior Princess, Hercules and Legend of the Seeker tv series were all filmed near Muriwai
Beautiful Muriwai - West Coast, Auckland - Home

Redid one of my rear wheels and Calipers. Forgot to take before pics, but they were about the same as the front ones that I posted before. Changing the rear hose was a pain, hard to get the hose clips out.

Here's the finished caliper.

Wheel painted and back in place. These wheels could really be completely refinished, but for now I'm just making them pretty since I have them off the car for the brakes anyway.

Car needs a paint job pretty badly, but it needs other non cosmetic stuff first.

Thanks for looking, it's nice to have a place to post little projects and see everyone's work.

I finally got my new Pioneer DEH P7400HD stereo head unit installed and working after the P.O. found it neccasary to cut off the factory wiring harness plug to fit his "new" Pioneer cassette deck in back in 1995. He also had a Yamaha 18W amp wire tied up under the dash and a Clifford car alarm box wire tied above the amp.......what a freaking mess of wires and wire ties.

Today I have to learn how to program and use this stereo, i've never had one with Pandora, MP3, ipod, USB, satalite radio, HD, and color customization and display, not to mention remote control. This is not something I can learn while weaving down the dark 2 lane bi-ways on my commute to work.

When it gets warm out, i'll hook up my infinity self powered basslink sub to it and really kick some azz.

I had to install my new receiver up to a MESS of wires myself last year...and had been intending to connect a self-powered Infinity sub as well. What model/size is yours and where do you intend to install it?

i see so many messed up installs. the biggest goof i see is speaker polarity. i constantly see them hooked up backwards.

I've got the 10" one and was hoping it would fit down one of the side rear compartments that the carpet covers, but it won't fit in there. I may have to utilize the spare tire hole, or leave it behind my seat, because no one can fit in the back seat. I like the idea of behind the seat due to the hidden aspect of it, I won't mount it in the open where anybody could see it.

OK, I think I have a handle on operating the new stereo, so I went and filled up the tank, gave the car a needed wash and wipedown with a chamois, and then put her in the garage with the cover on her to sleep for a month or two.

Changed all the rotors, was going to paint the calipers but I'll give that a crack another day.... Might rebuild the calipers when I paint them.

Pulled the front bumper, sanded it down and began patching the holes where the bumper pads used to be.

had a 2.5" mandrel bent connector pipe installed between the resonator and muffler, replacing the press bent 3". MUCH BETTER!!! quieter and better torque.
