Tried a set of 996C4S on the 944S. Rear was uncomfortably close on the inside, so added 1/4 spacers, which gave me the clearance, but then not enough threads to be comfortable, so the Club Sports went back on.

They look really nice on your car think its the blue sorry it didn’t work out for you but you made the right choice in the end safety first!!!

If you like the wheels, I'd say get new, longer studs. Probably could use replacing, anyhow!

Installed a new o2 sensor today along with a Dansk muffler. My '86 had been running a bit rough and just felt like it couldn't breathe.

Yeah.. OEM muffler was obviously choked up as it revves and accelerates like it never has before. Did the o2 sensor just for piece of mind as it looked like the one on the car was original.

As far as longer lugs for wheel spacers, I did it and it's not that bad of a job. Just get everything together to do the rear wheel bearings and add the lugs to to job. When I did mine, the car had about 110k miles which isn't bad, but the grease in the old bearings was like wax after 30+ years. Personally I felt better with new bearings after seeing what was inside the old ones.

Realigned/ raised my longacre interior mirror so I can actually see out of it
Removed outdated OMP seat and installed a new OMP seat (mmm nice and comfy!) that I picked up Thursday from OG Racing

FYI,
I have a 1986 944 NA and my wheel setup is the following if it helps:

Front: 18x8 ET50+7mm spacer with 225/40 ZR18 Michelin pilot sport 4s

Rear: 18x10 ET50+7mm spacer with 275/35 ZR18 Michelin pilot sport 4s

This setup works well for me. No rubbing, plenty of room all around, great performance and I have plenty of thread purchase. stock studs.

Hey y’all,
I installed a new fuel tank screen (filter), fuel pump, fuel filter and the fuel hose from the tank to the pump!

Reinstalled the rear glass which had come away from the top frame without removing the whole rear hatch frame. A tedious and tricky job but got it done.

Bought and installed a replacement battery.

Replaced fuel injectors, fuel pressure damper, fuel pressure regulator (LR adjustable), fuel pump, fuel filter.

Along with the LR NA Tune MAF kit and 4* cam key, the car is completely transformed.

Glued down new dash cap, installed new side hatch carpet, dyed hatch floor carpet , found bad radio relay.

Picked up a set of 17s with fresh rubber.





Also installed a carbon fiber hood prop for the rear hatch.

Realized I have a bunch of maintenance to do on my 968 that's way more important than buying a 924S that needs all the same maintenance and more.

+1 very nice cab ... dlearl....like the lips spoiler on it,did you ever though of switching to the euro signals- ligths bet it will look sharp on it,easy to do job maybe half and hour it's done ,done mine on my ex 968 see pics.And it does get rid of them ugly ...my taste...ruber bumperettes

Autocrossed this sweet ride yesterday. First time driving it "in anger". Really liked its responsiveness to input.
Wished it had 100+ more hp to keep up with the modified 2009 Cayman S that was in my class. Oh well, 150hp only goes so far.
