Installed a new o2 sensor today along with a Dansk muffler. My '86 had been running a bit rough and just felt like it couldn't breathe.
Yeah.. OEM muffler was obviously choked up as it revves and accelerates like it never has before. Did the o2 sensor just for piece of mind as it looked like the one on the car was original.
As far as longer lugs for wheel spacers, I did it and it's not that bad of a job. Just get everything together to do the rear wheel bearings and add the lugs to to job. When I did mine, the car had about 110k miles which isn't bad, but the grease in the old bearings was like wax after 30+ years. Personally I felt better with new bearings after seeing what was inside the old ones.
