Painted hub caps
Hi!
Yesterday, I decided to paint the Porsche crests on my hub caps. What a difference! That's a 6 hours job with a really small brush, but I really like the final result. I put 2 layers of Trem Glad clear, now let's hope that everything will stay ok with the brake dust and the stones! Here's a before & after picture... ![]() See ya! Yan |

Nice job!
If I started something like that, I'd make such a mess I'd have to buy a whole set of new wheels. |

Looks great, what kind of paint did you use?

Thanks for the comments. I used Armor Coat gloss paint for metal and exterior use. The red is "Fire red" and the yellow is "Holland yellow".
Here is a closeup:

Looks great! I'd love to paint the caps on my 15 inch fuchs, but I'm not sure about the contrast since my fuchs are gold mettalic color, like my car.
