Any interest in fiberglass carrera gt nose and euro running lights?

Hey there guys,so i was wondering if there was any interest in a fiberglass replica 924 cgt nose for a 944? i sold my 944 a little while ago and have no need for it anymore. its the gt-racing one:924/944/951 Parts | GT Racing
its #241 on their site.Brand new in the box.never fitted.I also have the euro running lights, brand new in the box, to complete the project.as well as the little rubber pieces that go in between the lights. Im willing to sell the valence for 300 and the pair of running lights for 200. Considering it cost me close to 1100 for all these parts i figure it a good deal.

There is a parts for sale/wanted section of the forum where you might have better chances.

I have a 944 with a badly beaten front left, and I keep an eye out there for parts that may interest me. Mechanical stuff comes first though, so I'm only a casual looker ATM.

I'm interested in the lights if they are as shown on this photo. They are actually the high beams also on the euro cars. I don't have the surrounds or the rubber pads, I need those also if that is what you are selling.

they're just park lights in euro cars. you actually need euro 944 light brackets and matching lights. 924 cgt lights shouldnt fit a 944 bumper, as your pic shows something similar but i think the pic shows a 924 bumper on a 944?

I have a cgt front fitted to my 944 with 944 light brackets temporarily fitted. the fit is horrible, they're not meant to go together and vice versa.

The running lights themselves will only fit either a 924 cgt front nose, or the euro 944/924 style thats in the front bumper.

The little buffers in between the driving lights and turn signals:

And, the pic of the nose:

Thanks for the photos. I want to double check the p/n's on my car to be sure they are correct. I'll do that tonight.

I could not find part #'s. Can you confirm that yours have 2 lamps inside, one is in the center and is the high beam and one is to the edge and is the 'running' light.

You can just see the edge lamp in the right in this photo.

Art, you got me thinking...

I had a '78 924. They were definitely parklights and not high beams in the bumper.

I had an '80 932 with a carrera gt kit. That had high beam lights in the bumper. I always considered that they were an aftermarket light soucred at the time of conversion.

I ended up damaging the cgt front and replaced it with a 944 front. I did keep what was still good from the 924 bumper though so I got out the light.

I have and have been around 944's for some 20 yrs and haven't seen any (early or late n/a's) that have high beams in the bumper, including my current one.

Back to the cgt lights:

The light housing has no ptno's on it. I think the lenses aren't original (hence my assumption they were a/m), they look epoxied on and are different to the ones i'm about to link below.

The rear plug has the ptno hella 122349 on it. Pelican doesn't recognise the number but a google search showed the same plug in a different housing with lense in this thread.

Not sure if it is still available from Porsche. I know someone at 924.org that might have some used ones.

Here it is on mine.

477 941 752 D is on pelican:

this rennlist thread came up as well but isn't of any real use but does include some dimensions that might be useful.
dimensions of 944 foglights - Rennlist Discussion Forums

probably a good time to note the differences between euro 924 and 944 bumper lights.

944 ones are specific to this bracket

Lighting regs are different in many countries so that could explain the differences. Mine is from Austria. Took a while to figure out what was going on since I had only US wiring diagrams. My car was hit in front at some point and the valance was replaced with one that has no provision for foglamps which lead to more wiring confusion.

Bummer - I'm probably 15 miles away from you and would've come picked them up this weekend. Oh well, next time I guess.
