The hall sensor is for providing the speed signal for the fuel consumption indicator.

Thanks,now i'm understand.This have sense.

My trouble is that this tacho and speedometer have no fuel consumption indicator so i supouse that this hall sender have no sense in a 924 84' with CIS?
Maybe same models have a fuel consumption with a sort of ECU?

The speedo and tacho are from a 924 for sure, black with white leters. On the instruments is the year 84' and the speedo have 240 km/h scale.

The CIS models cannot provide this information, since CIS is an analog system.

The DME models have fuel consumption information, since the ECU assumes the fuel pressure and knows the fuel injector timing. The Hall Sensor provides distance information to the Tach, which then displays fuel consumption per distance.
