83 994

Trying to convince wife another 944 is required, what is an 83 low mile (<40k) 2 owner worth? (please dont search for and buy before I can!) Car looks awsome, 5 spd, leather, recent service (not sure what that entails)

Probably like 5 or 6k max assuming it's spectacular/flawless

So probably like 4k in reality. Post the ad?

Ok we are starting at 5500. If there is no proof of recent clutch nock off 1500 min. Belts and rollers done in the past three years? If not nock off another 700-1000. Might need fuel line or battery? What's the issue. Sounds like another easy 500 off to me. My math now comes down to 2500 up to wherever you feel comfortable. A beautiful daily driver with NO issues is still just a 5k car. My two cents

Feel free to use a valuation calculator I just bookmarked:
Classic Car Value

The owner feels the car should be a "Category 2" vehicle...

I would say the vehicle is "Category 3" --price

I agree with what BTERRY1 said above, if the right service has been done, 4-5K is in order subtract for the service that has not been done. The fuel lines will depend on how often the car was used. If its been sitting you will need to replace every thing rubber.

Regards
Dave

Those prices seem higher than what I'm used to seeing! I'd want to say my car falls into condition 2...
