detailing my rig
So I'm detailing the Porsche last night (you know the little black lines that the door and hatch seals make). I found that Simple Green woorks great in the engine compartment and for tougher dirt removal jobs. I used a soft cotton rag with the Simple Green and then followed up with some Meguires Gold.
Then to keep it from happening again real fast I treated the rubber with 303 Aerospace Protectant (Wayne you guys need to carry this stuff!) It was recommended to me by another P-car enthusiest. It made my interior look brand-new, deap black, and is not greasy. It contains UV inhibitors to block sun damage. I had a really bad experience using Armorall -- which virtually ruined my entire interior (seats and dash went crispy and cracked in less than 2 years!), causing me to have to replace everything that it was used on. Anyway as I was finishing up I was thinking -- damn! this car looks good!
