Bolt Hole Tap Size

What size tap should I use on the bolt hole where the fuel rail connects to the intake manifold, towards the rear of the car? Mine is pretty trashed and the nut won't get snug. Thanks

There's a bolt there not a nut... It's an M6.

There is only one pitch size for an M6, it's coarse, so 1.
M8's come in coarse 1.25 or fine 1.
