I would of just used Paint Thinner. Lmfao.
Wouldn't harm leather as long as you cleaned it off and used some Brake Fluid on it.

Best way to keep leather nice, Use a little bit of brake fluid. ;)
Definably on faded spots.

Isn't the center console vinyl?

Well there was about 3 coats of clear coat on it and I didn't want to experiment. haha

Vinyle is just Plether.
Fake Leather.

Would see no reason why it would cause any other difference. I have used it on both. Deff on my trucks leather seats. They Faded on the center Console and bottom seat. Due to 125 Degree sun hitting it without a sun-visor. I currently use one now :P
