Snapped Vacuum Res
When I was re-installing my headers yesterday, I accidentally snapped the connector off the vacuum reservoir and heard a wish of air come out. I have a track day this coming weekend in Seattle area. I can't tell what this thing is for and if I can run the car without it for a weekend. Any insights?
(#10 in the photo) Porsche 944 Vacuum Control Parts Thanks, dustin

Its only a vacuum reserve for the heater & AC valves inside the car. You can bypass it but your heater/AC vents might not operate correctly. Doesn't affect any other vacuum circuit. iirc that reservoir ensures you always have a steady vacuum available for the heater/AC controls even when using the main vacuum feed braking. Otherwise every time you brake your heater flaps would shut down.
