one idjits question:
I have a '84 944 N/A with an auto tranny, and the flex disc/dampner went out. Would the rubber disc for a manual trans work (half the cost) I haven't put much thought into it, and rather than subjecting my few battered brain cells to such torture, I'm asking you learned people.
Fit right in? Fit with slight modifications? Fit with a cutting torch and a couple syringes of epoxy? Won't fit even with a large axe and impact widjit?

Alas my friend, the manual does not have a rubber disk. It has a rubber hub on the clutch disk itself.
The two are not interchangable without converting the entire drivetrain. AFJuvat
