I hesitate to post...Lindsey (Kokeln) GTR nose installed

I know many don't care for this front end, but I do like it. My stock one was pretty smashed up along the bottom, and I grenaded my splitter on a sidewalk in front of a parking space, so I decided to make a change. I definitely think I want to add fiberglass boxed rocker panels to continue the "flow" for this wider, lower, and generally larger front.

It has fabulous amounts of cooling, and they are known for making a good amount of downforce. The fit and finish was fantastic, a true "bolt on" job.

I have actually been very busy on the car. Added some (temporary) black carpet to neaten things up, deleted the center console, added new racing seats, remounted fire extinguisher properly, Lindsey stainless braided fuel lines, new MOMO Mod 07 wheel and some other smaller stuff. I LOVE the comfort and feel of the new seats and wheel alone. Doesn't hurt I dumped a lot of weight with all these mods this past week and a half

I already fabbed my hood vent panels, they will go in next, along with a billet trans mount, and I have to do some sort of front turn signal/marker lights as well.

I know some will say (or likely think) RICE, but I think it gives the car a real GT look, and I love my new (had them laying in my shop) driving lights...makes the front of the car really look like an 80's GT from the front, like a 935K3 (well, that may be stretching it)

I'm far from done. Man, this is a lot of work. If anyone ever tells you to do your own carpet, tell them to get bent. It sucks, and looks like poo (my version anyway, I am no upholsterer. Looks better than paint and pieces of glue and insulation, anyway. Still some work to do, as you can see.

I may do the wheels black today. The 16" rims look even smaller now, and going back to black may help with that some until I can afford some good 17" wheels (already have a set of tires)

I just had to post it to show someone who might give a crap, my wife is sick of my car!

Jeff

Wow. That was quick!

I think it looks great. However, I've always thought it needs to be balanced in the rear (deeper FG spoiler or even wing), as well as with larger wheels as you note. Not to keep ranting, but 968 mirrors and fixed headlights might go nice with it too!

Also, I'm not to taken by your extinguisher location. It seems too close to knock or accidentally hit.

Just don't go sidewalk surfing now

Take care!

Thanks!

I am in the process of building a custom spoiler/wing which will replace the rear foam spoiler, but mimic it's lines somewhat, but be wider, and longer (extending rearward and upward.

It is hard to descibe, I already bought the expensive parts. I hope in the next couple weeks Ill have something to show.

Any advice on who makes the best boxed rockers?

Jeff

ditch it's your car your money & wouldn't worry if someone like it or not as long as you do,personally I would not go all black with the wheel on a white car -Black center-Polish lips -painted center caps. But here again it's a question of taste. With hood vent panels.

Only a fool would modify his car to another persons tastes, so just do whatever makes you happy.

Everyone ostracize and ridicule Jeff the Ricer. That's almost as bad as having stickers on your 944...

(Sarcasm)

Take care!

I'm on a roll.

You guys.

Toast, I like the extinguisher there - I can easily get to it, and it actually works as an armrest of sorts...plus it is not in my way at all with both hands on the wheel.

Thanks for the positive comments! I get too self consious sometimes.

I really like it, and can't wait to finish oit the look it started.

Gaw, I shamelessly stole your headlight decal idea. Or I copied ot from one I saw on a 962. Either way.

Jeff

Ha. I stole your Koni decals, but mine are slightly larger I think. At least yours aren't exactly like mine

Thats just cruel, toast.

But I already have my mind set on either Fikse FM10s or Porsche BBS sport classics. But both require money I am currently out of!

I need mew Koni decals, my other ones were on the old front end!

Oh, that's just mean!

I really like properly done 240z and 260z cars, though, to be fair...
