What is this hose under the intake, 944S2?

I'll try to post a picture later, but it's pretty identifiable by description:

The hose that goes through the hole in the top of the S2 intake. It connects to a black cannister under the intake, and it has what looks like a pressure relief valve on the hose itself.

What is this thing, what does it do, and what is the part number? I need to replace it.

Also, what is the part number for the hose on the rear-facing side of the idle control valve (S2) -- the one facing the windshield. It has an elbow bend right off of the valve.

Thanks,

Tony K.

First one sounds like the hose that goes from the top of the throttle body back to the air oil separator (black canister with a long neck on it that comes up near the firewall and terminates with the yellow oil fill cap)? Some of those had a little tee fitting in them with a check valve or a blank plug, IIRC. Is that the first one you're talking about?

Yes, that's exactly it.

Do you know the part number for it?

Thanks,

Tony

Looks like hose is on illustration 104-01, part #44: 944.107.311.03, and valve is #45: 944.107.324.00. Might want to double-check with a parts supplier as these hoses changed from year to year, as did the air oil separators.
