who else has managed------
------to lose the bleeder screw for the cooling system???? I believe I have the dreaded air pocket problem after putting in a new thermostat, hoses, and coolant. So, in the process of trying to bleed it, I fumbled the screw/bolt and its just plain MIA. I guess its with those other socks and pairs of sunglasses I've misplaced.
Anyway, the question is: when I head to the hardware store tomorrow, does anybody know what size bolt, pitch, thread, etc. I need to get? Thanks guys. |
Actually you are going to go to the dealer and get another as this is a specially cross drilled and grooved bolt. Don't forget to get the copper sealing washer too.
You actually don't have to take the bleeder bolt out by the way. |
Yo SoCal---
That figures. Thanks for saving me the frustration of trying to figure it out at the hardware store! I'll get it ordered today! |
