OT: IF you had $95,000 to blow, how would you spend it?

Me? It wouldn't be on some 287hp NA V6 with ****ty gas mileage! If I had 95G's to blow I would payoff all my debt get my 951 and trick it out, payoff my mothers house and then go to school with the rest.

Keep my 944, maybe do some minimal mods, and pay my way through law school.

95 grand, will that be enough for a 993 GT2?? Or maybe I'll just get a 993 and convert it to GT2 status. If that's not enough, I'll get a 69 vw bug and maybe go with Twin Turbos. Or I'll just settle with a 928, the last ones built. Where they gt's??

RBT.

It's difficult really. I mean hell 95 grand is A LOT. But, in terms of a lot of the newer cars it's not THAT much. I'd get a 951 and definitely put a lot into it. For a daily driver I'd probably go for a BMW M5. Maybe an Audi A6 or a Benz. Just depends.

i'd spend it on the very, very best, top-of-the-line squirt gun. then with the change i'd get a bunch of water balloons. but that's just me.

oh yeah, then i'd get the 000001.

I'd buy this website and turn it into a Pamela Anderson XXX site. I'd have a bunch of photos of her wearing nothing but Porsches. Does that count as automotive?

I would quit my job and retire. O wait that would only last a couple of years, so I would pay off debt so then my wife you let me boost the S**T out of my 951 and then I would spend most of my spare time cooking ricers (no offense).....

That is a car request. kinda.

Hmmm....pay off my house, buy a Ducati and find a nice 911.

Oh yeah...to appease the wife, I'd get her a bouquet of flowers...no sense in leaving her out

Easy...
New custom order Targa... $75K
Tax, Full leather, custom factory paint, all the goodies, STICK SHIFT (i'm crazy but not stupid!)
That would probably run $95K
Maybe I could get the dealer to do it for $90K so I could put $5000 into my 944 and make it like new.

Oh sure you could buy a fleet of nice used cars/motorcycles but I am at a point in my life where I want to simplify things.

BUT, if you were talking $95,000 AND a warehouse AND a full time mechanic to maintain things. (ala Jay Leno)
550, 930, 951S, BMW 850, Jag type E, Lotus Europa, 67' corvette 427, Dino, one of them inline four Indian motorcycles, one of those two stroke 750cc street bikes, Norton commando, and the list goes on and on...

Pick any four or five of those.

First off, the 996 GT2 MSRP is around $184,045, so you'll need a little more than $95k for it. The 996 Turbo retails for around $117,310, so that's more in the ballpark...

What Porsche related goodies would I get with $95k?

Simple: I'd buy a nice BIG piece of property up in Sussex County, NJ, and build a 4-5 mile road course for DE / club racing. Porsche club / owners would get preference, of course, but I'd open it up to all marques of cars, like BMWCCA, Ferraris, Vipers...even the CIVIC crowd would be welcome to play! (I may have to put in a drag strip for them...)

And I'd even have a program/incentive to get boy racers off the street. (Once you drive on the track, there's no turning back!) Hmm: spending money on a dream, making money, and being a socially conscious person doing this! Sounds like a win-win-win investment for me!

Not at all!
But since we're talking about an "Imaginary $95k," I figured I can buy an "Imaginary piece of property" with it.

Actually, with today's interest rates, I would probably finance some undeveloped property here for a song and a dance...

I just love to dream and spend non-exsistant $$!
