Feul Line Leak
I am in the process of purchasing an 89 944 base model. There are several minor items it needs, but a major one if a fuel line leak at the fuel rail. I tried to find a replacement part but so far I have had no luck. Also I am not sure it needs to the the entire hard line and flexible portion (ouch). Can the flexible portion be replaced with regular high pressure fuel line? Anyone had this issue before? I pick up the car later today so I will be able to take a better look at the situation.
Thanks in advanced for your help, Rick. ![]()

Replacement Fuel Line
NOW I understand. I was still unclear about how I was replacing the end that was crimped to the hard line at the factory. Thank you. I'll be ordering it tomorrow. - Rick
