AC Condenser HELP!!!!!!
I've been looking and I need your help!
I'm in the middle of doing an engine re-seal, water pump, belts and in general, fixing up some "Bubba's" screw ups by the previous "owner(s)". Thankfully I have the help of a very experienced Porsche Technician and friend to help me with the subtle nuances in putting the engine back together. What I find myself doing is fixing a lot of the mounting issues of various items, that the previous owners either did not do, or in general left bolts out. HELP The A.C. condenser, seems to be just floating around in front of the radiator and not securely mounted to anything. I can't seem to find an image in any of the shop manuals "YET" or in the P.E.T. Can someone either explain it to me or send me a link to an image?????? What I want to investigate more tonight, is that the Condenser might fit between some rubber channels. Thanks for you help! Radiator
So, after a getting a response here and over on another 944 site, I've determined that my condesner and radiator are probably not correct. Either their missing the brackets or just a radiator that someone threw in.
Here's a picture. Anyway, I'm gonna stop by the salvage yard and see what those look like and may come home with one.
