1983 help

no low beam headlights no power to head light fuses .what should I check

if your referring to the fuses 1 thru 4 on the fuse block they are there for impact protection to the electrical system in a crash . it's common when a car gets hit that the wiring at the head lamps will get crushed and the power wire will ground to chassis so the fuses 1-4 are the last thing in the system before the head lamps .
you have to check backward thru the system . check for power at the dimmer switch to see if your getting power out there . then keep working backwards thru the system to the fog light switch and system all the way to the head light switch it's self .

many times I have found it's the dimmer switch being the cause of not getting power to fuses
1-4.
