alternator pulley removal
Hello! This may sound like a dumb question but how the heck do I remove the alternator pulley fan thingy? My alternator was bad so I bought a new one online but it did not come with the fan pulley assembly, so naturally I want to take it off the old one but I can't figure out how to remove it

A strap wrench and impact gun will make short work of the nut. You might need a puller to get the pulley off, Harbor Freight sells a decent kit. A shop can probably do it for you but I have no idea what they would charge. Maybe the pulley removal tools can be rented from the auto parts store.
