New Arrival, Not a P but still a Kraut
My 13 year old Subaru is just about on it's last breath so... My wife and I went to the auto rescue and found this little puppy. 2012 with low miles and still has almost a year left of factory warranty.
I picked her up last night and we spent the day together getting to know one another. My 84 now has a playmate!! ![]()

2002 Outback LLBean. 190k miles and rust has taken over the rear quarter panels as well as the rear suspension. Also, one of the cats are gone so the check engine light periodically comes on then turns off after a bit. I've replaced the brakes EVERY YEAR since new. Consumer Reports warns against this model (I purchased the car late 2001, before the published report). I paid 38k for it new and have spent over 20k in maintenance over the past 13 years; not sure if this is a lot or not but I think we're tired of each other. The car will be donated to the local public radio station as a tax writeoff within the next few weeks.
