Question What to do... ?

I gotta problem. Ive been scimping and saving my ass off and now Ive come to a x-roads.

Ive been planning sum maintenance- new front disc's, new rear drums, hatch shocks, lexan hatch and paint/panel. I can do this now,
OR
I can buy tickets (for xmas pressie) for me and my g/f to have a holiday in Thailand, thereby guarenteeing sex everyday for at least a year.

What should I do? Fix my car? Or fix my g/f?

BTW, both are a 'long term investment!'

Well, first of all.......does the g/f know these plans? Has there been ANY talk of going away for X-mas? Cause if you have already planted the seed of a trip to Thailand- then that is what you have to do.

If she didn't know about the trip idea, I would spend the $$ on the car and plan a nice road trip with the fancy-spancy new car. Take her somewhere that will excite her as much as a trip to Thailand (is she a big Thailand fan or something?), but won't cost as much.

.....but, then again - I have a bad track record with the ladies, so take what I suggest with a grain of crazy.

Fix the car. There is never a guarentee on sex, if she truly loves you then she can except your Porsche obession.

Do the car. G/F come and go, and when she does you'll be pissed you blew a wad (of cash) on her.

Dude, as long as she doesn't know about the trip,... fix the car. There are alot of other things you can do to make her day. You would be suprised how many girls like simple stuff. All you have to do is make her feel feel special and wanted. **** the MP3 player I have in my car was a present a couple of x-mas's ago to her. She didn't want it even though the radio in her car was shot. SHE WANTED A FRIGGIN PAIR OF SLIPPERS!!! How the hell was I suppose to know that? It's not like the slippers she had were torn and hanging on by a thread. Anyways, we've long broken up and now I have the MP3 player and it's a shame her crazy ass dumped me before I got her slippers!!! HA HA!

"Fix the car" was not what you wanted to hear, was it? Take her to Thailand.

Take her to Thailand. When it comes down to it what makes you feel better: her or the car?

Looks like I'm the minority here, but I say take her to Thailand. If you really consider her a keeper, than me thinks that will benefit you more in the long run. Besides, you can't screw your car every night, that would be gross.

Top ten reasons why you should fix the car and blow off the girl, and go by yourself
  1. You can't ride your girl to work.
  2. your car doesn't nag or complain about chitty hotels and get diaria and ruin the trip.
  3. Your car won't care if you bang 3 Thai hookers at the same time
  4. Your car won't F your best friend
  5. You don't have to wait for your car to get ready
  6. If your car squeels, you put a little oil to it
  7. Your car won't not tell you whats wrong
  8. Your car don't care if you don't hang around with it
  9. Your car won't break your stuff and then toss it out the window
  10. Your car won't take half your stuff in 10yrs

Cmon now, I think you already know the answer to this one. Girls can learn patience, if they haven't already. Bad brakes and other parts of the car that need attention won't wait for you to get the money together.

If you lose the girlfriend, you'll still have the car.
If you lose the car, you will also lose the girlfriend to your best friend (whose Porsche runs great).

just kidding, but in my opinion, Thailand will always be there. It can wait. I know you must love your girlfriend, but don't you love your Porsche too?

Back when my wife was just my girlfriend, she asked me, "Which do you love more--that car or me? I replied, "Now that's just not fair--I've had that car longer than I've had you"

But she married me anyway

221k miles and still kicks ass!!!

An Air Force Fighter Pilot was asked, "What's it like flying the F-16?"
He replied, "It's like driving a Porsche!"

Know how that goes... my wife is looking for lingere with the crests on it so she won't have to compete with the cars...

unless the car is in rough shape, and you don't think you are going to keep the lady, take her to thailand.

When you come back from thailand, you can spend as much on the car as you like, she won't complain....

Take her to Thailand. Consider it "preventitive maintanence".

Take the woman.

This is a no brainer.

All 944's can be replaced.

Don't forget you are going on the trip as well.....
