No start- jumper good DME relay
I am having trouble with my car starting with known good DME relays. I tried swapping out 4 good relays (they all work on my 84), but when I put them into my turbo, none of them seem to work. I then lastly tried my jumper really (87b, 87, 30 pins) and the car started, but was idling a little high at about 1200-1400RPMs. What could cause this, the jumpers working, but the good relays don't work? At a loss. Will just run her with the jumper when I need to move the car for now, but would much rather have it correct. I will swap out the DME computer with my other one, and start to re-swap the relays again. Until next time I suppose. Thanks in advance

Something else is preventing the relays from working. Most likely the alarm.

Had a no start a few month ago (bad reference sensors) and had the alarm jumpered, so maybe I disturbed something there? I since took the alarm jumpers off and started the car before. It ran fine the other day, yesterday I drove her from the street to my garage to put in a new ISV. When I put everything back together, I came to this no start problem. I will jumper the alarm again and see if that does anything. Thanks for the help

Thanks jpk. Alarm- you were spot on. The pin 1 (green wire) on the alarm wiring wasn't making a good connection. Took all the wires out, and repositioned them in the plastic connector and hiked back to the alarm module, and she started first try! Thanks.
