Has anyone painted their entire engine? If so, what type paint did you use?

The last engine I built, we painted with Dupli-Color Ceramic Engine Enamel. We had the block hot tanked and washed so all we had to do was degrease one more time and paint.
We used grabber green. It's 10 years later now, and all you see when you pop the hood of that Torino is the Incredible Hulk staring back at you. Sent from my Chroma Nexus 6 |

I once painted the heads on a chevy 2.8 liter orange,I had a case of the paint used on the sidewalks and streets and it lasted and looked OK after the engine was put back together. I think the case of paint was a buck at a yard sell. Lime green would have looked awesome!

Depends on my mood.
Some days I will go with Hemi orange, others, I will go with Kubota orange... If I feel more red I will go with Tangerine Orange..... YMMV
