classic case of : just because it fits doesn't mean you should put it there. I think the same philosophy applies to sex with fat women.

That's just wrong on so many levels I can't even begin to describe it.

Really bad taste on the owners part. For some reason it's reminding me of a toyota MR2.

What's wrong with a Toyo MR2?
I think the 2nd gen MR2's were beautiful. And their interiors were much better layed out than ours!

But that 914 with a 951 nose grafted onto it: well, that's just a demon child.

Previous MR2 Owner.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with the mr2. I said it reminded me of an mr2. That front end on the 914 is just WRONG.

I can see why it would remind you of an MR2, but i am thinking you mean the first-gen MR2.

I like MR-2 TURBOS, but I think the owners are all complete *******s that have no respect for anybody! I guess I shouldn't say that, I only know one kid with an MR-2 and he's just a spoiled little ***** (sorry about the language). He spit on my minivan earlier tonight (he should be glad I wasn't in my 944 cus if I had been I would have killed him, or at least beat him senseless). And just so you guys konw, MR-2 N/A ARE NOT FAST! My minivan will stick right with one!

stock about 6 sec 0-60, mid/high-14's in quarter. not quite as fast as a stock 951, but much quicker than a stock n/a and a bit faster than an s2.

they are very well-built, also. used to own one.

I was really active with my local IMOC (International MR2 Owner's Club), before I gave my bro-in-law my MR2, and bought my 944S2. I also still frequent the MR2 board (http://board.mr2faq.com). While there are always bad apples in any group (Like gearhead's MR2 story), I've found that the guys in IMOC at least around me aren't of that type. They are friendly, have a lot of pride in their cars, aren't obnoxious. They also have the same attitude that we have towards the "Rice" crowd and esp. toward Honda Civics.
An interesting similarity between the MR2 and the 944 is that we both live in the shadow of our big brothers (Supra and 911). I think becuase of that, we can get along pretty well...

And the MR2 n/a may not be the fastest car in a straight line, but some twisty roads ahead of you, and that car can really shine. They're also great autocross cars!

Just my $0.42.
-Z-man.

i bet it would outaccellerate a 944 up to about 65mph, and then the 944 would walk all over it

the n/a mr2 only has 130 hp and weighs only about 75 lbs less than a 944, so unless his deuce has mods, the 44 should take him.
