Engine knock

Hey all,

Getting a little concerned as I'm starting to get some engine knock under moderate to heavy throttle. Recently gave it a bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner. Was already hearing some knock before then. Suggestions?

I'll be checking my intake filter this week.

Keep in mind I have over 300K miles on this car. '86 944

Have the bearings every been done? 300k is certainly a healthy distance to travel without a rebuild.

I had lower crank bearings done back when I lived in WA by Gerber Motorsports since I had to have a new oil pan gasket installed.

Frickin' rodents!! Problem solved.

Take a peek at AC compressor mounting bolts. When they back out it makes a disturbing racket.
