Injectors 924s not firing

When I crank the engine I have fuel coming to the fuel rail but none of the injectors are firing any suggestions on what I can try.

Check out this tech article from our site. There might be some dirt in them and a cleaning may fix the issue. Best of luck! :)

Thank you for your reply I will give it a try however I fail to mention that ice or no voltage at the injectors when I remove them while cranking the engine I do have fuel pressure however

Usual stuff. Tach bounce? Puff of starting fluid? DME relay jumper?

Engine runs when I spray starter fluid into throttle body

The harness going to the injectors is a common problem. Look for broken or frayed wire . There is a repair kit availabl . Other then that start checking pins on the control unit harness per Clark's garage.

Thank you I will start checking the harness thanks so much for the quick response

You should hear the injectors clicking if they are getting a signal and they are not stuck. If the car has been stored for a long time the injectors might be full of goo.

A "noid" light or DMM or test lamp or something should tell you if you the injectors are getting a signal to fire. Ticking a few injectors with a test harness should fire them and then the car should catch a little bit if you indeed have fuel pressure. You should be mindful of burning out an injector, just short zaps is what you want like if you want to see if a wire is live.

It sounds like you are not getting 12v at the injectors with ignition on? If that's the case, check for voltage at pin #2 on the 9 pin connector on the firewall (near the brake booster). That is the +tive feed for the injectors and idle control valve.

If you have voltage there, your problem is likely a crimp connection where the wire splits to the injectors and idle control valve. The crimp connection is down near the reference sensors/hvac valve. I took off the intake manifold for access to fix it. Just unwrap until you find the broken connection, likely with loads of green corrosion.

If, on the other hand you have no voltage at pin #2 on the 9 pin connector on the firewall, you'll need to trace that back towards the DME.

That sounds like a solid lead. Thanks from a non mechanic who needs it in simple terms. Awesome. I'll let you know what I find
