Is this a Porsche 924 or 944 Door handle insert?

I wanted to know if this door handle trim is from a porsche 924/944 or any other model.

My volkswagen has a chrome door handle and this insert was removed from it. Non of the OEM VW inserts dont fit my handles (Tabs are different). So, I wanted to know if this is from a porsche. Please pay attention to the location of the tabs, it is easy to confuse these inserts since most of them look similar. If this is indeed from a porsche, I will need to find a pair since I am missing one and the other one is faded.

That is it? Looks like pelican carries the OEM porsche part. However, when I clicked on it, it says OEM VW/AUDI.

Do you know if this is the wood grain plastic version?

Check this out. The picture below is a door handle for 924/944 ( it was advertised for 944/924) and if you notice my handle is mostly like the ones below but the cut out on the handle near the thinner end looks circular on mine and looks rectangualr on the one below. By cut out I mean the hole near the thinner end of the handle where the tab goes in. Mine looks like a circular cut out. are you still sure that my handles are porsche?

Those parts are NLA.

Your door handle is VW, and is NOT the same as the Porsche handle.

However, the insert should work, as the tab on the end that you're concerned about doesn't go into the circular part, but the straight part behind it.

Your only hope is to find a used set of door handles with good plastic inserts and attempt to remove and transfer them to your handles. Good luck with that. I've attempted multiple times and never succeeded. They always crack.
