Quick late vs early hub question

The BBK I bought from Albert Broadfoot I am told is for late offset cars.
I have not been able to test fit on my car (on a trailer, truck is in the shop, yadda)
But I have someone interested in purchasing them (I am refocusing this winter), who has an 86.
I have an 86 at my shop that I test fit on, and here is the question:
The front rotors do not bolt onto the backs of the hubs like factory, they slide over the lug studs like a more modern car. However, there is a lip on the inside that prevents them from sitting flush.
On later cars, is the measurement shown in red a different diameter? Slightly smaller? (Even though keeping the same lug pattern obviously).

Yes, the 87- hubs are a smaller diameter. Not by much and presumably because they needed to fit inside the rotor as opposed to sitting outside of it like earlier cars.

Sorry, I meant to answer this earlier but I couldn't find my late hub spares. The early hubs are about 6 1/2 inches, the late ones are about 6 inches. I could get exact measurements if you need them. Early brake rotors bolt onto the back of the hub, late rotors slip over the hub like most other cars.

I have both, I just never noticed the difference! its def made for the later hubs. thanks for the help
