I won’t post the answer - (and it’ll be interesting I think) - until I see a good set of solutions posted. I’ll update the original post if I think more clarification is needed.

I'll play. Your post foreshadowed that you lost your AC charge, after replacing a few parts including the condenser. And also that your alt/battery checked out fine, but not necessarily during the incident.

With the fans on in traffic, the leaking refrigerant from the condenser was plastered all over the alternator.
