All,
I am building an LS-swap off-road race car out of my 1987 Porsche 944 S. Because of the nature of the surfaces I will be driving on, I need a manual brake setup, and of course for safety, it needs to be a dual master setup. If anyone has any resources, or any setups for sale, please let me know! Note: A pedal box would be awesome, but most likely way out of my price range and DIY skills, haha. The "Kokeln" setup would be awesome!!! Thanks, James |

I have the dual adapter for the pedal to MC connection made by Kokeln.

Dimi, do you have all the parts? I have the bracket, but not the link from the balance bar to the pedal. Would love to get some details on that, or even just pictures if you happen to have some.
To the OP, I have an LS swap car as well and have been looking into this. My swap came with a hydroboost setup from a BMW which I think I finally have setup and bled correctly. Took some work since I have a manual steering rack. Anyway, I found a book that was helpful that I can point you to if you're interested. From what I can gather, getting a combination of pedal stroke and pedal force that work for you is a combination of calculations and trial and error. There are a few people over on 944 hybirds that have found combinations that work for them. It's worth checking out the Brake Mods section if you haven't already. I think this bracket is still a great option short of going to an all out pedal box type setup. However, from the looks of things its still a pretty tight fit. And I would think some sort of heat shielding would be absolutely necessary considering the proximity of the master cylinders to the headers, particularly on a race car. |

Yeah, a heat shield might be a good idea. I'll keep an eye on it for sure.
I haven't got an email reply from Dimi yet, so if anyone else has one of these Kokeln dual master bracket kits for sale, please let me know! (or something similar!) Trying to get the car ready in time for 100 Acre Wood. Thanks, James |

Dimi is pretty active on FB as well under flyinghorsemotorsport. He has a phone number listed there. FWIW the Kokeln brackets are pretty hard to come by, I haven't seen one for sale in years. Mine is a very similar design, but isn't marked in anyway unfortunately.
