BMW E30 conv. power window issue!

my Bmw E30 conv. 1991
has issue with powerwindow.
they work if the door is open but not if it is closed?
does it has anything to do with electric top motors one is disconnected.
or the car has a old Defa alarm system could that do this?
anyone have any ide?

Anyway, I am not a BMW guy, but I would try raising/lowering window as you open & close the door and see if there is a precise point where it stops moving. If it stops before the door is fully closed, then it might be a broken wire or loose connection. If it stops only when fully closed & latched, could it be the alarm together with the disconnected motor..??
