1984 NA Black Seats and QM Code Transaxle
I am selling the seats and transmission from my car. I upgraded to an 01E and 996 seats, so I no longer need these parts. I am hoping someone local can purchase. I am in the Detroit suburbs.
Seats are in OK shape. The leather is cracked on both of them, the car was sitting in a barn for a long time. They are full manual seats. The transmission shifts great, nothing wrong with it. If you are looking for just the 5th gear set, I could pull that and ship that with no problem. But I would rather sell the whole thing and not have a useless transmission case sitting around. Prices: QM Transaxle: $250 Early Seats: $200 Location: 48334 - Detroit Suburbs ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was hoping for a local sale before I look into shipping... If anyone has suggestions on the best way to ship a pair of seats, please post.

To ship your seats here is what I recommend/have done:
Go to Uhaul and purchase a furniture box. Purchase bubble wrap somewhere else. Bubble wrap the seats and place one seat all the way down inside the box, then, flip the other seat and place into the box upside down. About $150.00 or so to ship via UPS or FedEx (of course, rates have gone up). Hope this helps. ![]() Ed

All parts are still available.
Thanks for the tips on shipping, I'll keep that in mind. |
