Engine has less than 10,000 miles since complete rebuild and upgrade. Built for maximum dependability while providing very good reliable power. - Bottom end rebuilt to stock specs - Cylinder head rebuilt, O-ringed with steam vent installed - Turbo upgraded to K27 - Full Vitesse V-MAF+ engine management...Including MoMonitor (monitor engine vitals from a PC) and VKnock (notifies driver in car, of engine knock) - Upgraded flow matched injectors - Adjustable fuel regulator - Manually adjustable boost controller - All new belts, seals, sensors and simplified vacuum lines Engine produces an easy and reliable 300 rwhp at 1 bar of boost. Can easily handle higher boost if you wish. 300 rwhp was good enough for me. Always meticulously maintained. My son is taking ownership of my beloved 944, and his dream is to immediately install an LS1 conversion...with my help (read money). All in, I have over $16,000 into this engine and upgraded components. Unfortunately I know this stuff loses value very quickly. I'm asking $6,000 for everything, and I'll include shipping to anywhere in the lower 48. Its almost like purchasing a stage 2-3 kit with high-end clutch, and getting an extremely healthy upgraded 2.5 liter engine and components for free. |
