Rebuilt 2.7NA Engine
I rebuilt this motor with the intentions in dropping it into a 924s or other chassis. Just bought a house and have other projects going on, so figure I'd post it for sale.
I had the motor down to the short block. Put in new standard rod bearings (originals were in great condition). Every gasket and seal is new on the motor. Loctite 574 was used and all procedures done to tech manual specifications. Complete new front end, water pump, bearings/rollers, seals, Oil pump drive sleeve, etc. I should have a full set of accessories, alternator and power steering pump. The 2.7 cylinder head was decked and rebuilt, 3 angle valve job, new seals. 4 degree cam key also installed. Injectors were rebuilt. Correct intake manifold, wiring harness, and DME. DME has a MAXhp "Race" Chip. Should be a fun motor with a little bump in HP with the headwork and cam key. Engine is assembled. Cam box and intake manifold painted black. Engine is further assembled than picture shows. Not looking to ship at this time. Engine is located in Uxbridge MA, and I am willing to drive to help meet a buyer. Considering the prices of 2.7 heads and 3.0 blocks, I am asking $1800. ![]() |

My two cents: a good buy.

... and the water pump, pulleys, gaskets ... it all adds up.

What's the chip like? I have an 89na, somewhat interested in that alone if you'd part with that.
