Porsche Crest 951.356.061.02 is NLA from Porsche

This is a Return Hose from the Hardline at the rear of a 944, and is possibly the same for all other 944 types as well.

The issue is the M14 Female Euro Flare Fitting mates to a 10mm Hose. This is an odd size, as normally M14 fittings mate with DN6 hose lines that are 8mm.

I am wondering if there is enough demand to special order these fittings from Germany.

The alternative is Recycling the original Fitting as above or using DN6 Hose & Euro Flare fittings that are available with a short adapter to 10mm at the Tank end.

Anyone care to comment?

I have been able to come up with an alternative to the expensive custom M14 Flare fitting the factory uses for the 10mm Return Hose.

I use the normal 8mm Hose that is correct for the M14 fittings with an adapter at the top of the Tank and the Return fitting.

This makes it MUCH easier to install given the tight space between tank & Chassis, and there is still room up on top for this to clear...

Now I need someone who needs this, to become the Beta Tester....

Good day Byron, thank you for asking.

I am not sure how the 944S motor runs it's Fuel Feed and Return Lines, but if similar to this 944S2 motor, then I can help.

I am presently in the process of making up some new ones for a S2 Motor being installed in a 924S chassis....

The difference is in where the lines are run along the chassis floor. The early 944/1 and the 924S have their lines run along the Driver's side floor.

The later 944/2 and others including the turbo run their lines along the Pass side floor and up inside the Right Front Fenderwell, passing over the hot exhaust as they reach the motor and fuel components.

You may notice these hoses are not fully crimped.

I did not have exact hose lengths, and sent them to the owner partially assembled, to fit and cut the hose to his personal preference. He will then return them to me for final assembly and crimping.

I am happy to help you.

My hoses are E-85 Rated and are made to order. They have not been sitting on a dealer's shelf for who knows how long.

Once I have a base of info on hose lengths and fittings for a given model, I can make up just about any configuration you may need.

For more info, please email me. My pm box always seems to be full.

Thank you.
