Yes, it is the one that came with the car, but it has been a track car the last 5 year, so I disconected it, but never got around to taking it out. It will be the weekend before I can do anything with it as I'm heading out of town tomorrow. $50+shipping sound fair?

Also, if you could, please detail how to disconnect and remove these motors, if it's not too much trouble.

Did you get the chance to test and remove your wiper motor off your '86 track car?

Eric, Is it from a 85.5 or newer? I believe that they are completely different wiper motors.

It is from a 1983. Was not aware there was a difference.

I can take a picture of it so you can compare if you want.

No need to take a pic. Yours definately won't work in mine. I wish, they did because new they cost under $200 whereas the 85.5+ motors are over $300 (new)

Sorry, I haven't had time to even open the hood of the race car better yet take the wiper motor out. If weather holds (IE, no rain) I should get it out tomorrow

I have one from a 87 944s that works well.
