86 944 turbo chassis, LSD trans, mod motor

I acquired this chassis along with another 944 turbo I purchased and don't need it. It's a turbo chassis no title that was used as a track car at one point and subsequently taken out of commission. It has an LSD trans. The motor dynoed at 352 rwhp, but developed excessive blowby and needs a rebuild.

It is missing a number of parts including the front suspension, but does roll on the rear wheels and is on a dolly to support the front, so can be loaded onto a trailer.

Engine mods:
O-ringed cylinder head
MAF, larger turbo, 55 lb/hr fuel injectors
Vitesse DME Chip set, designed to work with the MAF, Turbo, and Injectors
SMT-6 piggyback, allows tuning of DME chipset through software (included)
Apexi electronic boost controller and dual port waste gate (allows on the fly adjustment of boost with boost controller)
Dual port waste gate
Forged billet aluminum blow off valve
See dyno chart below showing 352 hp

What's missing:
Back Bumper
Rear shocks
Rear axles
Front control arms, struts, and brakes
Seats
Front fenders
Left headlight and bucket
Exhaust

Car is located near Portland, Maine.

Looking for $3300 now $2900. I figure the engine and trans alone are worth this. The rest of the car is included for free!

Hey all - just getting back to this after a while. The candidate buyer was looking for a titled car, and I don't have a title for this. Would make a good candidate for a track car project, or for the motor + LSD trans + parts.

The car is in Bridgton, Maine, and I plan to be up there a couple times in the next 2-3 months. Let me know if interested!

This is a great deal for upper east coasters that are tracking a car or cars! Good luck

I've tried unsuccessfully to read it previously. Since a few have asked this question, I'll give it a more concerted effort when I'm up in Maine in the coming weeks, and report back.

[Edited] I've found the code on the top side of the trans, it's challenging to read but I may see a 5R in the sequence. I'm not sure though. I can say this, though - it's gotta be an LSD in this trans. The axles are removed, and I can't spin an output flange when the trans is in gear. However I can easily spin one when it's in neutral and the other one moves in the same direction. I think that tells the story. This is also consistent with what I was told by the fellow whom I bought this chassis from (that this car has an LSD trans).

Edited to indicate that when in neutral, when spinning one output flange, the other side turns in the same direction.
