tape holder for console
I recently found one of these in my garage that is in very good shape. It is black, with a great hinge, and missing only one metal tab for holding the tapes.

I finally looked at the part number and it turns out this came from a 928. It fits the 944 (I think it was a 1984 car) and looks just fine. It is covered with black leather. I can send you the positions of the screw holes and you can see if it will fit where your holes are.

Sammy, many thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I already have a spare console from an 1984 car. I'm looking for a 1985.5 console...which I understand fits differently. Good luck with your sale!
