Located in Texas
Budget of 1k USD Looking specifically for the original Porsche part 944-343-051-00 in the picture (just the strut with adjustable perch, no springs or strut mounts needed). Here are some pictures where the part number is visible: ![]() ![]() |

If you are looking for front coilovers for an early 944, Paragon has a kit that would come in well under $1k...
If I were you, Id give Paragon a call, and see what your options are for getting the front half of this kit: https://www.*****************.com/Koni-SPEC-1-Suspension-Package-p/944spec-1.htm Pelican wont allow posting of the URL, but insert "paragon - products" where the asterisks are (no spaces). I have the same setup on my late model 944 and its a good kit, Koni adjustable rebound as well. The picts you posted I think are M030 OEM package, which are going to be hard to find and hard to rebuild. The koni setup above is going to be similar if not superior to that.

Those are definitely good options, thanks for the recommendations. My issue is that I cannot use the 2.5" ID springs from these kits due to autocross rules. I need to use the original springs, so I would need the threaded spring perch to be the correct size to fit the "red dot" springs from the early M030 package (wire diameter 12.4mm, ID ~97mm).
Pretty sure the perch would need to be custom made to fit the unusual spring dimensions, so I'd rather not go down that route unless there really are no original M030 packages out there. |
