WTB: 924S for Carrera GT conversion
Looking for people who are parting with or might be persuaded to part with their 924S. Would prefer red with black leather, must be stick, engine/tranny must be strong, service history would be nice, would love one with the factory upgraded suspension (or an aftermarket suspension for that matter), etc blah. Obvioulsy can't gurantee I'll buy, but I'm looking for cars for sale.
Since the car will be a canidate for the Carrera GT conversion it doesn't have to have immaculate body panels, so lemme know what you got. Email or PM if you have anything, or know someone who does. |

I've just completed an 87S GT conversion and it's up for sale.
I could post some pics if you are interested. White/burgandy with 17" C2's, turbo bars, yellow Konis on the rear, black sport seats with notches for a 5-point harness and a 4-point professionally installed cage, never seen the track. Steve E

I might be interested in your Carrera GT conversion. It'd be great if you could drop information and pics at SlowToady@fakelife.com Sounds like you got a fair bit of work done to it, might be a bit out of my league. Who knows though....
924Sman: Not exactly sure yet, it's one of those "I can't define it, but I'll know it when I see it" deals. Not looking to pay an arm and a leg though, since it would be converted to CarreraGT specs anyway. Thanks for your time. |

Around Chicago, IL.
I don't have my heart set on a specific model, if that opens anything up. Wouldn't mind driving an NA 944, or a 951, or a 924S. Ehh..if any of you guys are selling, we can talk a bit. I not trying to do anything rashly or very quickly, because I want my experience with Porsche's to be a good one. |

I've got some friends coming down from Chicago around Halloween. We're having a pca event in Springfield, MO. They're big P-car nuts too, so if you see a burgandy 951 with sideskirts, a red early SC all tricked out, or a black '89 911 turbo, talk to them.
My turbo will be up for grabs around the same time. It's a fun one and you wouldn't be disappointed. new motor w/ race prepped crank (knife-edged, lightened, x-drilled, nitrited) and head (o-ringed, 5 angle valve job, intake and exhaust port work) by Garrity, total seal rings, new cheater turbo, lightened flywheel, new clutch, new Yokos, 17" rohs, new konis, possible maf, n/a cam, recent new 1/2 shafts, rear wheel bearings, lowered, H4s, etc. etc. I'm selling to complete my monster car. My friend from Chicago is selling his burgandy 951(one of my old cars) though it has around 180K miles, he wants my car if he sells his, or I might take it in on a trade, or he wants me to build him a new one. so there's a ton of choices, I also have a couple 924S candidates for you too. |

I'll try and look for your buddies around Halloween, be cool to meet up with them.
I think I remember that car, we were talking about it before you rebuilt the motor. I still have the picture; in fact it's my Windows desktop picture. Sounds like it might be more than I can afford, but if you felt like throwing a number out in email or PM.. This might just work out pretty well.. |

Well they'll actually be down here around Halloween. That's cool about you desktop picture. I also forgot to mention about the new paint job, I really haven't added up any figures on the car. Unfortunately I really don't look at that the #'s too often, I do it out of fun and so I lose track. There is no way I could ask what's actually invested. I try to crunch some #'s for you. Have a good weekend.
