944 Racecar GT4/E Production

1983 tub with full cage,fuel cell,fire system,lexan and flares (carbon rears), unique front airdam with splitter. Almost new slicks (1 weekend), spare wheels (4). Suspension: Bilstein F&R with custom front adjustable sway bar and weltmeister rear, spherical bearings on all four corners,31mm torsion bars rear, 500lbs springs front with 150lbs tender springs in front,adj spring perches, adjustable camber plates,rear torsion tube pickup points modified for adjustment, corner balanced 50/50 weight distribution car weighs 2200 lbs and is well sorted.

Engine: N/A 8 valve race prepped motor with John Milledge head and camshaft (8 races since rebuild),Accusump,best intake manifold of 16 tested,stahl header with 3 inch exhaust (quiet).Hi torque starter. DTA programmable engine management system (crank fired) with data logging, laptop programmable. This system will also work on a turbo engine. C&R custom custom radiator.

Transmission: Close ratio gearset with 533 ring and pinnion from french taxi, excellent for Limerock or NHIS,Quaife limited slip.Close ratio transmission with standard R&P for long tracks such as Pocono or Summit Point.

$12,000 obo with some spares included.

Race prepped 944 engine: Crank knife edged and lightened,Race prep rods with raceware bolts,1mm over JE pistons 11.5:1,1mm overbore with nikasil plated bores,Raceware studs (girdle and head),new oil pump,gaskets and bearings.................... $3,200

John Milledge race prepped head (new) with valve job and turbo valve springs..................... $1,000
