Broken Hearted!
I just got the word from my mechanic...the clutch on my 87 944 is gone to the regions beyond. Cost of replacement is around $1500. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to put that kind of money into it. Maybe someone out there is interested in it. I am the second owner. It has 112K on engine and runs excellently. My mechanic told me the AC needs recharging. The tires are in excellent condition. The body and paint is in good condition. The interior is clean and in very good condition. Before I put it on ebay, I thought I would post it on this forum and see if there is any response. The car is located about 40 miles south of Montgomery, AL. It can be driven, but the mechanic said the clutch may go out at any time and leave one stranded. I'll consider reasonable offers.
