944 Supercharger Kit Plus Other Goodies
I am selling my non- intercooled supercharger kit for from supercharging of Knoxville for an 8 valve 1983 to 1988 944. The kit has never been installed, and I have since lost interest in the project. I am selling the brackets with blower and plumbing for $2500. The blower is a used Paxton unit; however it is in good condition. The kit does not come with a DME chip. I have a stand alone programmable fuel injection and ignition computer for sale with the kit for $1500. The computer is made by sds-efi and is for four cylinder engines. The computer comes with almost all of the required sensor (i.e. manifold air pressure, temperature, idle air valve, hall sensor). The computer also has the hand held programmer option and an ignition retard control for turbo or supercharged motors. Also included is a 944 partial wiring harness, cut off before the dme plug and a universal wiring harness for the computer. For the price this unit is a steal. I have a receipt from sds-efi where the computer was complete checked out to make sure all components worked. Also, I have a set of 944 turbo s pistons and rods with approximately 1000 miles on them. You can still see the machine marks on the piston skirts and the ring lands I intended to use them in my supercharged motor. For the piston and rods, blower kit and computer I would take $4250. With an intercooler this kit with the pistons could make over 300 h.p at the rear wheels. For the pistons and rods I would take $500. I also have a set of manual 968 mirrors $300 and a set of 968 door handles $300 for sale. The mirrors and door handles are new in the box from the dealership with all of the appropriate gaskets.
