WTB: Ignition switch 4 a 83
I think I now need an ignition switch prior to the tecn answers to my post. I think from a 83-85 1/2 switch will work for a 83. I even heard that a switch from a 74 VW is the same switch. Does anyone have one available..

it is the same as any post 74 vw...cost like 10 anywhere. go to any import place and get it

yup... brand new from a VW dealer will charge you like $10... you wont find cheaper than that here probably...
just head to your local VW dealer.. gotta have one in LA *somewhere* lol.

timmons vw is around there part number as I recall is 111905865L

get one for a 1984 vw rabbit....otherwise they will have no idea what you need, the switchs changed later in the golfs
