Being screwed by "badcoupe"...
Just thought I should let other folks know about the dealing I had with fellow Pelican member "badcoupe". I purchased a Momo steering wheel he had advertised here on the classifieds, to date I have not recieved the wheel. I sent paypal to him on June 27th. I have sent numerous requests via email and PM through this BBS and through the Rennlist BBS in an attempt to get him to confirm the item actually shipped. I have had ZERO responses from him. I have even posted on many of his threads both here and on rennlist to get him to send me my steering wheel, still no response.
I filed a dispute with paypal today (aug 2) as I think it has been long enough now with out a single reply. It pains me to post this as I have bought and sold over 70 items on the Pelican Classifieds and never had a bad dealing. I guess maybe I was due? ![]() If anyone has any other suggestions about how I may proceed let me know. I am not sure how else to motivate this guy into sending me my parts that I paid for..... Thanks

That really does suck. I remember seeing the post and thinking damn I missed that. I wish it could have worked out for you.
I have only had to file a dispute with paypal once and it was long ago, but they should have the paypal member's phone number on record. I do remember selling something to a guy up in Canada before and it did take what seemed to be forever(the customs crap, especially if the box didnt have the contents written on a label). I don't know the extent of the info you have on the seller, but the internet can provide lots of good info. A cross post on Rennlist would'nt hurt either, may even help you out or atleast inform the guys over there who dont visit here often. Good luck with this matter and keep us informed.

Just thought I should post that the steering wheel did arrive today. The tracking number indicates it was shipped excatly one month after payment was received. Still never got any replies to any of my emails or PM's. Selller did send the product though, just not promptly at all.
Cheers

badcoupe = bad customer service
I also had to wait a month before he shipped anything out. He replied quickly to my emails, while I was getting info, but as soon as he received my PayPal it was like he disappeared. There's no excuse for shipping a part 1 week after receiving payment (personal rule). It wasn't till I was harassing him on every post he replied to until he got tired and shipped it. I guess he only responds to pressure.
