FS 87 944 "S" head

I have an 87 head from an S that is in need of some repair. I bought the head from Russell for the parts to re-build mine. I have the head, cam caps, tentioner (condition unknown but good pads) 16 cam followers (condition unknown). The head needs 1 seat replaced and some dents filled and milled. No visable cracks and the deck surface is true. Make resonable offer or trade for a fender and fog light.

Well I have the fog light taken care of, the fender is covered.
The head price is $350+shipping.

Just to give you a markt "update". A completely rebuilt S head sold for less than $600 recently on ebay. A head needing a few hundred $$$'s worth of work will not fetch $350.

Thats fine, I might just rebuild it and do some "tricks" with it and throw it on the car. I have options. I'm thinking slight shave 5 angle valvejob, gasket match, and polish. I have $350 in it so that is where I derived at the price. Thanks for the "heads" up though

watch what you do to a 944S head. I have done lots of testing on these heads. I have 5 of them in different stages of modifications. Doing very little to these heads is the key. They flow plenty from the factory. They actually flow twice the amount of the intake manifold.
