WTB: Windshield wheather seal
I'm looking for the rubber seal that goes around the front windshield.

Yeah I really would like to know the same thing. I've tried doing a search and can't seem to locate this part new anywhere and it's not sold here on pelican.

I'm not entirely sure that there is a seal per se for an '87. I think it consists soley of a frame (944 559 543 02) and cover strip (944 559 535 03). Cabrio's, I believe, don't even use the frame. The weatherproofing is most likely made by a sealant.

My 87 has some kind of plastic/rubber about 18 to 20mm wide but I think it might be a generic thing - check at a auto glass place. I remember other cars having a similar looking piece. I think its just glued on to look better - cover up the sealer.
